The Importance of Google Maps
We have a friend who recently went online to check out Bed & Breakfasts in the town she was going to visit. She went to Google and did a search for “Napa Bed & Breakfast.” 7 listings came up on the Google Map and these were the only ones she looked at. She later told us that she did not even think there were any other B&Bs in the area!
This is just one example of how important it is to be on the first page of Google and especially to have a presence on that map. Click here for more information about Google Maps and getting ranked today!

How to Write a Blog Post
Here are basic directions for writing a blog post in WordPress:
1. Login to WordPress. (Go to your web address and type in “/wp-admin” at the end of the URL. This will pull up the login and password page.)
2. Give the post a Title (if you can, include key words that you are targeting for SEO)
3. Write content of blog entry. Once again, try to include key words.
4. Add Tags: Include as many key words as you can think of (that have to do with your post). There are already “most used” tag words” when you are logged in so you can use ones that have already been used.
5. Add a Category: select at least 1 category that your blog can be filed under. If there is not an appropriate one, you can create one.
6. Publish post by clicking “publish” on the right of the screen. If you prefer to preview it first, you can hit preview and a new window will open up. Then go back and publish the post.
